Meet Luke Goodall, the award winning Australian comedy Writer, Director, and Producer with over 350 million views and 100k fans to his name. In 2020, Luke was hailed as “among the best writers in the country” by Oscar winner Ron Howard during his time in the writing accelerator IMAGINE IMPACT.
Armed with a Bachelor of Digital Media, majoring in Film and TV, Luke began his career in 2013 as the Digital Content Producer for Fremantle Media, working across NEIGHBOURS, PICNIC AT HANGING ROCK, and four seasons of WENTWORTH. During this time, Luke co-directed his debut short documentary VERY IMPRESSIVE, which premiered at the St Kilda Film Festival.
In 2017, Luke transitioned into comedy and has never looked back. He started the comedy duo Goodall & Gallagher alongside Marc Gallagher, and their debut YouTube series ANTISOCIAL garnered over 20 million views, earning them a feature on Foxtel’s sketch comedy THE SLOT. His debut branded comedy piece for Priceless Productions, IF TRADIES RAN A PUB for Skills Certified, garnered over 6 million views and established Luke as a creative force. Luke went on to write, direct, and perform for brands such as DISNEY, SPORTSBET, CARLTON DRAUGHT and KAYO among others.
In 2022, Goodall & Gallagher was selected by Screen Australia and YouTube for the talent accelerator SKIP AHEAD. Their true crime parody, THE FOLLOWERS, garnered over 200k views and won Best Writing at both the Sydney and New York Web Festivals.
In 2023, Luke produced his first TV show, the late-night entertainment panel show BEST ON GROUND for FOX SPORTS. He also produced Charlotte Nicdao’s short film LEAD ASIAN MALE 60s.
In 2024 Luke can be found producing AFL superstar Jeremy Cameron’s YouTube channel, and Troy Kinne’s workplace comedy UNCANCELLED. While also developing Film and TV projects of his own. Luke is the co-creator of PAW & ORDER, an adult animation in development with producing partners Greg Basser and US based Stampede Ventures. He is also co-writing his debut comedy feature THE CATCH UP alongside Max Price.
